Garden Route Game Lodge

A one hour flight from Hermanus or Cape Town and you will be in the midst of the Big Five. Breakfast in the Boma is followed by a visit to the reptile centre where their resident herpetologist will introduce you to a wide variety of snakes as well as the Nile Crocodile.

A visit to their cheetah conservation project is then rounded off with a walk with the cheetahs followed by the main attraction, the game drive. Rhino within a couple of metres of the vehicle, elephant, buffalo, lion, giraffe and many species of antelope interspersed with stops to learn about the diverse flora along the way from their knowledgeable guides.

After the drive a sumptuous lunch is followed by a scenic flight back to you departure point or we can transfer you to George, Oudtshoorn or any one of the towns farther up the Garden Route.

 
   
 
 
Cape Agulhas

A flight along the Southern Cape coast over dolphins, whales, great white sharks and some of the most spectacular, deserted coastlines you have ever seen brings you to the southern tip of Africa. Lunch in the restaurant in the historic Agulhas lighthouse is followed by a walk out on the tip of Africa.

A tour of the picturesque town of Struisbaai and a flight back round off a perfect day.
   
 
 
Cape Peninsula

From Hermanus we will fly along the coast to Cape Hangklip, the eastern point of False Bay. Then it is a breathtaking flight around False Bay to it’s western extreme at the bottom of the Cape Peninsula, Cape Point. Along the way you pass over pristine beaches, seaside towns and the southern part of Cape Town. From Cape Point we fly up the western side of the peninsula over central Cape Town and the harbour and then back to Hermanus via the scenic Elgin Valley.

   
 
 
Whale Watching - Flight of Giants
With the rocky coastline as our path, from Cape Agulhas to Cape Hangklip centered in the Hermanus area, you'll witness the giants of the deep crashing through the water with their fellow species, with mating groups of up to ten whales. These colossal creatures can now be appreciated and easily tracked. Our record is 135 whales in a 15 minute flight. Flights depart form Hermanus.
   
 
 
Oudtshoorn and the Cango caves
Fly into Oudtshoorn in the arid Little Karoo and from soaring above the earth you will descend into it’s depths in one of the great tourist features of Southern Africa, the Cango Caves.
Lunch, a visit to an ostrich farm and then the Swartberg Pass which is without doubt one of the most sensational passes in Africa, are followed by a flight over contrasting landscapes on your way home or further up the Garden Route.
